Tal como había anunciado Mia Seglosson, y en la línea
de lo que ella representa, Universal ha lanzado dos sencillos de diez pulgadas
con ‘Dancing Queen’ en su versión original y en castellano en la cara B.
Lo preocupante no es el lanzamiento en sí, sino el
precio desorbitado que han decidido imponer, sin contar los gastos de envío y
aduana.
Una estrategia que deja muy claro qué lugar ocupan
realmente los fans en sus prioridades.
Como Universal conoce bien a sus fans, el lanzamiento
parece responder más a un cálculo de explotación del fan que a un criterio
artístico, sabiendo que lo venderá todo.
Nosotros celebraremos el sencillo en septiembre con música.
Hoy tenemos que felicitar a Stellan Skarsgård que
celebra su cumpleaños.
En 1973, ABBA estaba en "Sommerlørdag" y
"Television City" en Dinamarca y dos años después en
"Eddy-Go-Round Show" en Holanda.
El 7 de junio de 1976, ABBA hace historia al tener
cinco sencillos y cuatro álbumes en las listas de charts australianas
simultáneamente.
En 1992 Björn & Benny estaban invitados en el
concierto de U2 en Estocolmo.
En 2005, salía el álbum "¡Mamma Mia!" de la
producción sueca.
En
2016, la BAO sacaba el álbum "Mitt Hjärta Klappar För Dig".
En 2022 salían los álbumes de estudio de ABBA en
Picture LP y en 2025 el LP "ABBA" a media velocidad y la caja de
sencillos en colores del álbum "ABBA".
En las novedades, tenemos el nuevo sencillo de los
A*Teens y la orquesta de la armada sueca, que interpretó un popurrí de ABBA
para el día de la fiesta nacional de su país.
Para acabar, Helen Sjöholm y Martin Östergren
interpretan “Money, Money, Money”, de manera muy singular, en un concierto en
algún lugar de Suecia.
As Mia Seglosson had announced, and in keeping with what she represents, Universal has released two ten-inch singles with ‘Dancing Queen’ in its original version and a Spanish version on the B-side. The worrying thing isn't the release itself, but the exorbitant price they've decided to charge, not including shipping and customs fees.
This strategy makes it very clear where fans really stand in their priorities.
Since Universal knows its fans well, the release seems to be more about exploiting the fan base than artistic merit, knowing that it will sell out.
We'll celebrate the single in September with music.
Today we also want to congratulate Stellan Skarsgård on his birthday.

On June 7, 1976, ABBA made history by having five singles and four albums simultaneously on the Australian charts.
In 1992, Björn and Benny were guests at U2's concert in Stockholm.

In 2022, ABBA's studio albums were released on Picture LP, and in 2025, the half-speed "ABBA" LP and the colored singles box set of the "ABBA" album were released.
New releases include a new single from A*Teens and a performance by the Swedish Army Orchestra, which played an ABBA medley for their country's national holiday. Finally, Helen Sjöholm and Martin Östergren perform “Money, Money, Money” in a very unique way, at a concert somewhere in Sweden.
Comme l'avait annoncé Mia Seglosson, et fidèle à ses convictions, Universal a sorti deux 45 tours de « Dancing Queen » avec la version originale et une version espagnole en face B. Le plus inquiétant n'est pas la sortie en elle-même, mais le prix exorbitant pratiqué, sans compter les frais de port et de douane.
Cette stratégie révèle clairement les véritables priorités des fans.
Comme Universal connaît bien son public, cette sortie semble davantage motivée par l'exploitation de la base de fans que par la valeur artistique du titre, sachant pertinemment qu'il sera rapidement épuisé.
Nous fêterons la sortie du single en septembre avec de la musique.

Singers estaban de gira por los folkparks de Suecia.
Esa noche, coincidieron en la ciudad de Falköping y Björn

la inauguración del conservatorio de música de Estocolmo, en parte, financiado
por Benny y que sólo existe en el directo de ese evento.
On June 5, 1966, the Hep Stars and the Hootenanny Singers were touring the folk parks of Sweden.
That night, they met in the town of Falköping, and Björn and Benny hit it off immediately.

Half a century later, Björn and Benny threw a secret party at the Berns Hall in Stockholm with all their friends and sang songs like “The Way Old Friends Do,” which is the only song that was ever released publicly.
Ten years have passed, and we don't know Björn and Benny's plans for today.
We can only congratulate them and celebrate with a special program featuring their greatest hits.
Last Tuesday, Lasse Hallström also celebrated his birthday, and Peter Jöback's last Thursday.

Los fans de ABBA que han podido, han celebrado el cuarto aniversario de ABBA Voyage en el recinto, con una fiesta como sólo ellos saben hacerlo.Y eso, a pesar de que ningún miembro de ABBA se hizo presente este año, ni siquiera el team de producción.Chess Broadway continúa dando de qué hablar, porque se termina el 21 de junio próximo.Y eso sólo porque no quieren reemplazar a Lea Michele, que debe dejar la producción para irse a otra.En 1979, ABBA estaba en España en "300 Millions" y “Aplauso”, en 1993 sacaba el álbum "More ABBA Gold", en 2008, las nuevas versiones de los álbumes “Gold” y “More Gold” y en 2022, los boxes "ABBA CD & Vinyl Album Set".En 1988 Orsa Spelmän sacaba su álbum homónimo.En 2013 Agnetha editaba el sencillo "Dance Your Pain Away" con un videoclip interpretado por algunos de sus fans.Al no incluir miembros de MundoABBA, hemos decidido hacer nuestro propio videoclip que es el que está en este podcast.Por fin, en 2016, la Benny Anderssons Orkester sacaba el sencillo "En Natt I Köpenhamn".Tommy Körberg participa en el álbum en directo “Pengarna eller livet” de Carl-Axel Dominique, así que elegí “Gaiahymn” para el podcast. El concurso de la canción de Eurovisión ha terminado con
la victoria de Bulgaria y su Bangaranga que no ha dejado a nadie
indiferente.
De ahí he extraído la primera novedad, ya que en el
intermedio hicieron un popurrí, para celebrar los setenta años del festival,
dónde varios ganadores han cantado las canciones de otros.
Por supuesto no podía faltar “Waterloo”.
El musical Chess en Broadway ha recibido cuatros premios
de los Broadway Ensemble Awards incluido el Most Outstanding Ensemble al
contrario de Mamma Mia que no ha tenido ninguno.
¿Qué ha cambiado desde 1988 cuando el mismo musical
fracaso con un guion igual?
En el mundo ABBA, se ha ido Buddy McCluskey, que con
su mujer Mary, están en el origen de las traducciones en castellano de las
canciones de ABBA incluida “Chiquitita”.
Al contrario, Nanne Gronvall celebró su cumpleaños el lunes pasado.
En 1974, ABBA estaba en "Señoras Y Señores"
en España, el año siguiente grababa el programa especial "Made In Sweden For Export"
y en 1980 grababa los videoclips para Gracias Por La Música y
Conociendome, Conociendote.
El 18 de mayo de 1978, se inauguraron los Estudios Polar Music en Estocolmo,
proporcionando un lugar de trabajo muy moderno para ABBA, que sería también
usado por varios artistas muy conocidos como ellos.
En 2006, Björn & Benny sacaban el álbum "Lycka"
remasterizado y en 2013, pudimos ver "We Write The Story"

Unidos por la música es el lema de Eurovisión.
Por desgracia en la realidad, no es así, ya que por culpa
de políticos que no saben dónde hay que actuar, han vetado el E-concurso de
eurovisión en España por la participación de Israel.
Por suerte, toda la gente que quiso verla, ha podido
hacerlo de otro modo.
El único perdedor aquí, es el ganador del BenidormFest,
que no ha podido competir en el festival.
Esta noche, deseo mucha suerte a todos los concursantes
en la final, incluido Israel, que se clasificó en la primera semifinal.
Eso sí, como la mayoría de la gente, denuncio la política
invasiva del gobierno de Israel hacia Gaza.
En 1973, ya salía el sencillo "Ring Ring" en
Francia y Bélgica, y un año más tarde fue "Waterloo" en francés.
Ninguno de los dos sencillos tuvieron
éxito, el primero por haber salido antes de Eurovisión y el segundo por hablar
de un evento que los francés prefieren olvidar.
El 14 de mayo de 1986,
se estrenaba el Musical "Chess" en Londres y
en 2008, se estrenaba “Chess
In Concert” en el Royal Albert Hall de Londres.
En 2006, la Benny Anderssons Orkester lanzaba el álbum "På Turné"

Lo preocupante no es el lanzamiento en sí, sino el
precio desorbitado que han decidido imponer, sin contar los gastos de envío y
aduana.
Una estrategia que deja muy claro qué lugar ocupan
realmente los fans en sus prioridades.
Como Universal conoce bien a sus fans, el lanzamiento
parece responder más a un cálculo de explotación del fan que a un criterio
artístico, sabiendo que lo venderá todo.
Nosotros celebraremos el sencillo en septiembre con música.
Hoy tenemos que felicitar a Stellan Skarsgård que
celebra su cumpleaños.
En 1973, ABBA estaba en "Sommerlørdag" y
"Television City" en Dinamarca y dos años después en
"Eddy-Go-Round Show" en Holanda.
El 7 de junio de 1976, ABBA hace historia al tener

As Mia Seglosson had announced, and in keeping with what she represents, Universal has released two ten-inch singles with ‘Dancing Queen’ in its original version and a Spanish version on the B-side. The worrying thing isn't the release itself, but the exorbitant price they've decided to charge, not including shipping and customs fees.
This strategy makes it very clear where fans really stand in their priorities.
Since Universal knows its fans well, the release seems to be more about exploiting the fan base than artistic merit, knowing that it will sell out.

El concurso de la canción de Eurovisión ha terminado con
la victoria de Bulgaria y su Bangaranga que no ha dejado a nadie
indiferente.
De ahí he extraído la primera novedad, ya que en el
intermedio hicieron un popurrí, para celebrar los setenta años del festival,
dónde varios ganadores han cantado las canciones de otros.
Por supuesto no podía faltar “Waterloo”.
El musical Chess en Broadway ha recibido cuatros premios
de los Broadway Ensemble Awards incluido el Most Outstanding Ensemble al
contrario de Mamma Mia que no ha tenido ninguno.
¿Qué ha cambiado desde 1988 cuando el mismo musical
fracaso con un guion igual?
En el mundo ABBA, se ha ido Buddy McCluskey, que con
su mujer Mary, están en el origen de las traducciones en castellano de las
canciones de ABBA incluida “Chiquitita”.
Al contrario, Nanne Gronvall celebró su cumpleaños el lunes pasado.
En 1974, ABBA estaba en "Señoras Y Señores"
en España, el año siguiente grababa el programa especial "Made In Sweden For Export"
y en 1980 grababa los videoclips para Gracias Por La Música y
Conociendome, Conociendote.
El 18 de mayo de 1978, se inauguraron los Estudios Polar Music en Estocolmo,
proporcionando un lugar de trabajo muy moderno para ABBA, que sería también
usado por varios artistas muy conocidos como ellos.
En 2006, Björn & Benny sacaban el álbum "Lycka"
remasterizado y en 2013, pudimos ver "We Write The Story"
en la gala de Eurovision desde Suecia.
En 2012, ABBA sacaba el álbum y DVD "The
Essential Collection".
Como segunda novedad os propongo “Til the
Music Starts Again” de
Bana Sona Band con Kalle Moraeus en el programa Bingolotto de la televisión
sueca.
Para acabar, los ganadores del Festival José Song, interpretaron “Dancing
Queen” en el auditorio de Bielany, en Varsovia, para su próximo álbum.

Unidos por la música es el lema de Eurovisión.
Por desgracia en la realidad, no es así, ya que por culpa
de políticos que no saben dónde hay que actuar, han vetado el E-concurso de
eurovisión en España por la participación de Israel.
Por suerte, toda la gente que quiso verla, ha podido
hacerlo de otro modo.
El único perdedor aquí, es el ganador del BenidormFest,
que no ha podido competir en el festival.
Esta noche, deseo mucha suerte a todos los concursantes
en la final, incluido Israel, que se clasificó en la primera semifinal.
Eso sí, como la mayoría de la gente, denuncio la política
invasiva del gobierno de Israel hacia Gaza.
En 1973, ya salía el sencillo "Ring Ring" en
Francia y Bélgica, y un año más tarde fue "Waterloo" en francés.
Ninguno de los dos sencillos tuvieron
éxito, el primero por haber salido antes de Eurovisión y el segundo por hablar
de un evento que los francés prefieren olvidar.
El 14 de mayo de 1986,
se estrenaba el Musical "Chess" en Londres y
en 2008, se estrenaba “Chess
In Concert” en el Royal Albert Hall de Londres.
En 2006, la Benny Anderssons Orkester lanzaba el álbum "På Turné"
y un día como hoy de 2011, el sencillo "Kara Syster".
En 2013, Agnetha editaba el álbum "A" y Björn & Benny el sencillo "We Write The Story".
En las novedades, Charlotte Perrelli renueva con un sencillo en castellano
y también en castellano, “Va Todo Al Ganador”, un sencillo de Jenny J,
nueva cantante que sale de la nada y que no tengo más información por el
momento.
Para acabar, Natasha Kojic, una compositora de Belgrado, interpreta en directo
desde la casa sindical de la ciudad, “Chiquitita”.

Mayo empieza tranquilamente y no hay noticias que
destacar.
No es el caso de los aniversarios que son importante esta
semana.
Empezamos en 1969 cuando Björn y Agnetha se enamoraron
grabando "Räkna De
Lyckliga Stunderna Blott" para la televisión.
Aunque hoy, cada uno tiene un camino diferente, ¿qué habría pasado con ABBA si
no se hubieran unido entonces?
En 1978 ABBA estaba en los Estados Unidos de promoción y participaron al show
de Olivia Newton-John.
En 2007 tuvimos el recopilatorio "Text -Stickan Anderson"
con lo mejor del quinto miembro de ABBA.
En 2009, Benny hizo cantar a varios empleados de su hotel, el Rival, para
promocionarlo con "2nd
Best To None".
En 2011 salía el álbum y el DVD "Super Trouper" en edición deluxe.
El 7 de mayo de 2013, muchos de nosotros estuvimos en la inauguración del Museo ABBA
en Estocolmo , mientras, Agnetha promocionaba su álbum “A” en
Inglaterra.
Para el 40 aniversario de ABBA, sacaron el box "Singles Box".
Para celebrar los cinco años del museo, salió el recopilatorio "After ABBA"

Todavía rememorando el
grandioso fin de semana en Estocolmo,
debo preparar este podcast que comienza con tristes noticias.
Lena-María Gårdenäs, que fue una de las tres
coristas de la gira de ABBA en 1977, nos ha dejado el martes pasado.
Era artista y yo sólo la recuerdo porque reemplazó a Agnetha en el papel de
María Magdalena en Jesucristo Superstar, en 1972.
Ayer Georg Wadenius
también nos dejó.
Lo conocimos cuando hizo interpretar a Frida “Morning
Has Broken” para su álbum “Reconnection”.
Sven-Olof Walldoff, Finn Kalvik y Anna Ulvaeus han
celebrado sus cumpleaños esta semana, aunque Sven-olof lo hizo desde el cielo.
En 1975, ABBA grababa
Los Videoclips "Bang-A-Boomerang", “I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do”, “Mamma Mia”
Y “S.O.S.”.El 28 de abril de 1988 se estrenaba el musical
"Chess" en Broadway.
El 27 de abril de 2018 Arturo Sandoval y Frida lanzaban el sencillo "Andante, Andante", pero lo más importante fue el anuncio de la
nueva canción de ABBA, "I Still
Have Faith In You" y el proyecto ABBAtars.
Finalmente en 2024, la BAO editaba el sencillo "Vårarna Som Försvann".
En las novedades tenemos los nuevos sencillos de Anna Standling y Sing It Live.
Para acabar, Eden Golan, que representó a Israel en Eurovisión en 2024,
interpretó en concierto “Voulez-Vous?” con una coreografía espectacular.
