MundoABBA es un podcast dedicado a la música de ABBA y a todos los artistas relacionados con ellos.

Nuestra única ambición es dar a conocer toda la música de esos artistas del Mundo de ABBA.

No ganamos dinero, y por ello tampoco pagamos los derechos de autor, y pese a ser publicidad gratuita, resulta ser un problema para las plataformas que albergan nuestros podcasts.

Hace un mes, FilesFM que alojaba los podcasts, después de hacerlo en Anchor, nos bloqueó el acceso a nuestro contenido y ahora Youtube ha restringido la duración de los videos que se pueden subir a mi canal a tan solo15 minutos, después del tercer podcast subido.

Estoy hastiado de perder años de trabajo cada vez que ocurre esto y volver a buscar otra solución.

Con motivo del ABBAday en Roosendaal, dónde estoy ahora mismo, os presento el penúltimo podcast de MundoABBA, dedicado exclusivamente a ABBA y a sus miembros (con algunas excepciones) y con toda la música que se habrá escuchado en la fiesta disco del ABBAday, acompañado de videos.

El último podcast de MundoABBA se presentará el día 25 de este mes, para celebrar el 80 cumpleaños de Björn.

Our sole ambition is to showcase all the music of these artists from the World of ABBA.

We don't make any money, and therefore we don't pay royalties, and despite being free advertising, it's a problem for the platforms that host our podcasts.

A month ago, FilesFM, which hosted the podcasts, blocked access to our content after hosting them on Anchor, and now YouTube has restricted the length of videos that can be uploaded to my channel to just 15 minutes after the third podcast upload.

I'm tired of losing years of work every time this happens and having to look for another solution.

On the occasion of ABBAday in Roosendaal, where I am right now, I present the penultimate MundoABBA podcast, dedicated exclusively to ABBA and its members (with a few exceptions) and featuring all the music that will have been heard at the ABBAday disco party, accompanied by videos.

The final MundoABBA podcast will be released on the 25th of this month, to celebrate Björn's 80th birthday.

Notre seule ambition est de faire connaître toute la musique de ces artistes du Monde d'ABBA.

Agneta Åse Fältskog, nació un 5 de abril de 1950, en Jonkoping (Suecia).
A los quince años se integra en la orquesta de danza Bengt Enghart Orkestra.
Después de dos años firma un contrato con la firma de discos Cupol y graba su primer sencillo “Jag Var Så Kär”.
En 1968, Agnetha lanza su primer álbum titulado simplemente “Agnetha Fältskog”.
Se enamora de un productor y letrista alemán, Dieter Zimmermann, que le promete una gran carrera en Alemania, y después de varios sencillos en alemán sin éxito, ese país acabo con la paciencia de Agnetha y con su romance, regresando sola a Suecia.
En mayo de 1969, la televisión sueca invitó a Agnetha a participar en el programa “Räkna De Lyckliga Stunderna Blott”.
Cuando Agnetha descubrió que en el elenco participaba también Björn Ulvaeus, se puso muy contenta, dado que le gustaba mucho.
El amor surgió muy rápidamente entre ellos, durante el rodaje del programa.
En noviembre de ese mismo año salió su segundo LP “Agnetha Volume II”, seguido de un tercero “Som Jag Är” un año más tarde y “När En Vacker Tanke Blir En Sång” en 1971.
El 6 de Julio de 1971, Agnetha y Björn contraen matrimonio.
Con cuatro álbumes y varios éxitos en el Svensktoppen, fue elegida para interpretar el papel de María-Magdalena, en el Musical Jesucristo Superstar, que se estrenó en Göterborg en octubre de 1972.
Un poco más tarde, trece días después del Melodifestivalen de 1973, Agnetha dio a luz a Linda.
En 1975, Agnetha, editó su último álbum  “Elva Kvinnor I Ett Hus” bajo el sello Cupol, donde tenía un contrato hasta final de año.
En verano, interpretó en directo “Tack For En Underbar Vanlig Dag” y “Dom Har Glömt” de ese álbum.
Ya en diciembre de 1977, el segundo hijo de Björn y Agnetha nace pocos días antes del estreno de “ABBA La Película”.
En septiembre de 1979, lanza su recopilatorio “Tio år med Agnetha” y para la ocasión, añade una nueva canción “När Du Tar Mej I Din Famn”. 
Dos años más tarde, edita el álbum “Nu Tandas Tusen Juleljus” con canciones navideñas suecas, a dúo con su hija Linda.
En 1982, Agnetha, fue elegida para uno de los papeles principales de la película “Raskenstam”, que trata de la verdadera historia de un Don Juan sueco, en los años 40, que estafó a unas 100 mujeres después de seducirlas.
También grabó a dúo con Tomas Ledin la canción “Never Again”, que lanzaría en castellano un año más tarde bajo el título “Ya Nunca Más”. 
En 1983, empezó su carrera en solitario.
El primer álbum, “Wrap Your Arms Around Me”, producido por Mike Chapman, fue el más exitoso, debido a que fue mejor promocionado.
Para la película “P & B” grabó las canciones “It's So Nice To Be Rich” y “P&B”, aunque ella no aparece en el film.
En 1985, lanzó su segundo álbum “Eyes of a Woman”, producido por Eric Stewart.
En 1986, grabo a dúo con Ola Hakansson el sencillo “The Way You Are” con “Fly Like The Eagle” en su cara B, que fue otro éxito en Suecia y Noruega.
En 1987, lanzó, con su hijo Christian, el álbum para niños “Kom Folj Med I Var Karussell”.
Después, Agnetha se fue a California para grabar su tercer álbum “I Stand Alone”, producido por Peter Cetera y Bruce Gaitsch.
En 1996, salió el recopilatorio “My Love, My Life”, del que hay que destacar que todos los temas fueron elegidos por Agnetha.
En 1998, editó el CD-Single “The Queen of Heart”, que es la versión inglesa de “När du tar mej i din famn" y que sirvió para promocionar el recopilatorio “That’s Me” que salió el mismo año. 
Después de 17 años, en 2004, Agnetha decidió hacerse un regalo, grabando las canciones que le gustaron en su juventud.
El resultado es “My Colouring Book”.
Nueve años después, en 2013, Jörgen Elofsson y Peter Nordahl, convencieron a Agnetha para grabar un nuevo álbum con canciones expresamente escritas para ella.
El álbum se llamó “A”.
El último sencillo del álbum “I Should´ve Followed You Home” es un dúo con Gary Barlow, quien la invitó a cantar en directo con él, en el programa “Children in Need” en Inglaterra, lo que haría que el sencillo consiguiera el mayor éxito de los tres, en Europa y EEUU.
En agosto de 2023, Agnetha nos regaló una nueva canción "Where Do We Go From Here?", que se incluyó en una nueva versión del álbum “A” titulado “A+”.
Contiene versiones alternativas de las canciones originales.
Se creó un video manga animado, al estilo de Barbie, para la nueva canción.

Today, Agnetha celebrates her 75th birthday, and we want to send her all our love.
For this reason, we're going to celebrate by reviewing her story through her music.
Agneta Åse Fältskog was born on April 5, 1950, in Jonkoping, Sweden.
At the age of fifteen, she joined the Bengt Enghart Orkestra dance orchestra.
After two years, she signed a contract with the record label Cupol and recorded her first single, "Jag Var Så Kär."
In 1968, Agnetha released her first album, simply titled "Agnetha Fältskog."
She fell in love with a German producer and songwriter, Dieter Zimmermann, who promised her a successful career in Germany. After several unsuccessful German singles, that country ran out of patience with Agnetha and her romance, and she returned to Sweden alone. In May 1969, Swedish television invited Agnetha to participate in the program "Räkna De Lyckliga Stunderna Blott."
When Agnetha discovered that Björn Ulvaeus was also on the cast, she was delighted, as she liked him very much.
Love quickly blossomed between them during the filming of the program.
In November of that same year, her second LP, "Agnetha Volume II," was released, followed by a third, "Som Jag Är" a year later, and "När En Vacker Tanke Blir En Sång" in 1971.
On July 6, 1971, Agnetha and Björn were married. With four albums and several hits on the Svensktoppen charts, she was chosen to play the role of Mary Magdalene in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar, which premiered in Götterborg in October 1972.
A little later, thirteen days after the 1973 Melodifestivalen, Agnetha gave birth to Linda.
In 1975, Agnetha released her last album, "Elva Kvinnor I Ett Hus," on the Cupol label, where she had a contract until the end of the year.
That summer, she performed "Tack For En Underbar Vanlig Dag" and "Dom Har Glömt" live from that album.
In December 1977, Björn and Agnetha's second child was born just days before the premiere of "ABBA The Movie."
In September 1979, she released her compilation album "Tio år med Agnetha" and, for the occasion, added a new song, "När Du Tar Mej I Din Famn."
Two years later, she released the album "Nu Tandas Tusen Juleljus," featuring Swedish Christmas songs, a duet with her daughter Linda.
In 1982, Agnetha was cast in one of the lead roles in the film "Raskenstam," which tells the true story of a Swedish Don Juan in the 1940s who swindled around 100 women after seducing them.
She also recorded the song "Never Again" as a duet with Tomas Ledin, which she released in Spanish a year later under the title "Ya Nunca Más."
In 1983, she began her solo career.

In August 2023, Agnetha gave us a new song, "Where Do We Go From Here?", which was included on a new version of the album "A" titled "A+."
It features alternate versions of the original songs.
A Barbie-style animated manga video was created for the new song.

ABBA acaba de anunciar cambios en el espectáculo ABBA Voyage en el ABBA Arena de Londres para el tercer aniversario.

Es una buena noticia y espero que se añada una nueva canción para disfrutar aún más de su música.  

El 26 de marzo de 1973, ABBA sacaba el álbum "Ring Ring", a pesar de no haber ganado el Melodifestivalen de ese año.

En 1985, Agnetha sacaba el álbum "Eyes Of A Woman" y en 1993, Josefin Nilsson sacaba el álbum "Shapes", escrito por Björn & Benny.

En 1999 Steps con otros dos grupos, sacaba el sencillo "Thank ABBA For The Music", después de haberlo presentado en los Britts Awards y en 2004, Agnetha sacaba el sencillo "If I Thought You'D Ever Change Your Mind", después de 16 años de silencio.

Ese año salió también el DVD "ABBA In Concert".

Por fin, podemos recordar la extraordinaria interpretación de “Ode To Freedom”por el Stråkensemblen Kyiv Soloists y Eric Ericson'S Chamber Choir, con Benny, para “Vi spelar för freden” en 2022.

This is great news, and I hope a new song will be added to enjoy their music even more.

On March 26, 1973, ABBA released the album "Ring Ring," despite not winning that year's Melodifestivalen.

In 1985, Agnetha released the album "Eyes of a Woman," and in 1993, Josefin Nilsson released the album "Shapes," written by Björn & Benny.

In 1999, Steps, along with two other groups, released the single "Thank ABBA For the Music," after performing it at the Britts Awards. In 2004, Agnetha released the single "If I Thought You'd Ever Change Your Mind," after a 16-year silence.

Carl-Magnus Palm ha lanzado un crowdfunding para un nuevo libro que hará parte de una serie de cinco libros con tema de ABBA en conciertos.
Es un tema muy interesante, pero ABBA sólo hizo cuatro giras y hay poco material conocido de la primera. En mi opinión, sería mejor recopilarlos en tres volumen, lo que también debería reducir el tiempo para tener toda la colección.
En los aniversarios, solo tengo que mencionar el sencillo "Head Over Heels" que salió en 1981.
Ha salido un recopilatorio de Anita Lindblom con covers y uno de ellos es “L’Avventura” de Stone et Charden y traducido por Stig Anderson.
Además es inédito para mí, así que la he puesto como primera novedad.

Como segunda novedad, otro cover, este mucho más clásico, “Chiquitita” en castellano, por el grupo Trio Los Halconcitos.
Para acabar Patrick Alan Casey nos interpreta un Mamma Mia muy personal.

Un día como hoy de 2010, ABBA entraba en el salón de la Fama del Rock and Roll, en Nueva York.

Desde que ABBA ya no es ABBA, a sus miembros no les gusta recibir premios y muchas veces no los vemos en las ceremonias.

Pero en esta ocasión, Benny no dudó en ir a recibir este premio y Frida lo acompañó.

Aunque en el momento de cantar algo, Frida dejó solo a Benny y tuvo que pedir ayuda a Faith Hill, para que sonara algo de ABBA en el evento.

No hay más aniversarios que señalar, salvo el primer sencillo del álbum “A” de Agnetha, en 2013.

No han surgido más novedades esta semana, pero si canciones que han salido ahora, aunque fueron grabadas mucho antes.

Es el caso de “Oh Mamma Mia” por Karen Cheryl de 1976 y en francés, que se estrenó ayer en CD.

Más reciente es la versión de “Anthem” de Petter Bjällö y como nuevo video os propongo “Waterloo” por Bjorn Again, desde Australia.

Para acabar, os he extraído de mi CD “Most Wanted” “Ekorren”, un himno japonés que ABBA cantó para decir adiós al país, justo antes de subir al avión que les llevaba a casa.

Y como es corto, os he añadido la versión de “I Have A Dream” interpretada en esa gira, con el coro que cantaba en japonés.

On this day in 2010, ABBA was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in New York.

Since ABBA is no longer ABBA, its members don't like receiving awards, and we often don't see them at the ceremonies.

But on this occasion, Benny didn't hesitate to accept this award, and Frida accompanied him.

Although, when it was time to sing, Frida left Benny alone and had to ask Faith Hill for help so that some ABBA music could be played at the event.

There are no other anniversaries to note, except for the first single from Agnetha's album "A" in 2013.

No other new releases have emerged this week, but there are songs that have been released recently, although they were recorded long before.

This is the case with "Oh Mamma Mia" by Karen Cheryl, from 1976 and in French, which was released yesterday on CD.

More recent is Petter Bjällö's version of "Anthem," and as a new video, I'm featuring "Waterloo" by Bjorn Again, from Australia.

Finally, I've taken "Ekorren" from my CD "Most Wanted," a Japanese anthem that ABBA sang to say goodbye to their country just before boarding the plane home.

And since it's short, I've added the version of "I Have A Dream" performed on that tour, with the choir singing in Japanese.

Il n'y a pas d'autres anniversaires à noter, à l'exception du premier single de l'album d'Agnetha "A" en 2013.

Il n'y a pas eu de nouvelles sorties cette semaine, mais il y a quelques chansons qui sont sorties maintenant, même si elles ont été enregistrées bien avant.

C'est le cas de « Oh Mamma Mia » de Karen Cheryl de 1976 et en français, qui est sorti hier en CD.

Hoy se va a decidir en Estocolmo, el representante que irá al Concurso de Eurovisión, que este año se celebra en Suiza.
Los que han leído el libro de Jan Grandvall, sabrán que el evento no es importante para la población sueca, aunque si lo es la elección del ganador del Melodifestivalen, y que tiene siempre una audiencia insuperable en la televisión sueca.
Por mi parte, deploro que no hayan elegido a un artista que me guste desde 1996, año en que One More Time interpretó “Den Vilda”.
Los aniversarios empiezan en un día como hoy de 1970, dónde Anni-Frid Lyngstad participaba en el programa “Malmo Stand By”.
El año anterior, el trio Björn-Benny-Stig obtenía su primer gran éxito con “Ljuva Sextital”, interpretada por Brita Borg.
El 4 de marzo de 1974, Stig ponía en marcha su máquina de guerra con “Waterloo”, que salía en álbum y sencillo en inglés y sueco.
En 2011 salía en DVD la primera biografía de ABBA, editado por la televisión holandesa, con nuestros cuatros integrantes en 1982.
Acabo recordando el excelente libro de Ian Cole “ABBA Song By Song”, que salió en 2020.

En 2011, la première biographie d'ABBA est sortie en DVD, éditée par la télévision néerlandaise, avec nos quatre membres en 1982.

Je termine en rappelant l’excellent livre d’Ian Cole « ABBA Song By Song », paru en 2020.

Dans l'actualité, le groupe Electric Banana, dont fait partie Janne Schaffer, est apparu dans l'émission de Carina Bergfeldt à la télévision suédoise et le groupe The Great Leslie a interprété "Waterloo" dans l'émission qui a sélectionné le représentant de l'Allemagne à l'Eurovision.

Je n'ai pas pu résister à jouer la dernière reprise live de « S.O.S. » par ABBA Classic, pour terminer ce programme.

On this day in 1969, Frida was performing 'Härlig Är Vår Jord' at Melodifestivalen and Jan Malmsjö was performing 'Hej Clown' by Björn and Benny, who were present there, which led to a decisive meeting between Benny and Frida.

In 2002, "Chess På Svenska" premiered in Stockholm and in 2012, Björn and Benny were at the premiere of Kristina Från Duvemåla in Helsinki.

In the new releases, Mono Music has released, as a digital single, the extended version of “Jag har förlikat mig till slut & Guldet blev till sand” and Nanne, accompanied by her husband and son Charlie, performed “Håll om mig” on BingoLotto this week.
